Baltimore Ravens Tickets

NEWS

Ravens fall to Patriots, 23-20

The Baltimore Ravens found a new, more devastating way to lose this time around, falling to the New England Patriots with a Super Bowl berth on the line, 23-20.

After last year’s debacle, the Ravens managed to drop the game-winning touchdown pass and then absolutely shank the game-tying field goal that could have sent the game into overtime.

Lee Evans nearly had his second foot down in the end zone when he was stripped of the ball, and Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal by shanking it way left.

Despite a slow start in the first quarter, Joe Flacco played a tremendous game to silence his critics, throwing for 306 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

With all that said, the Ravens still came up short for a second straight year and are quickly gaining the reputation as a bunch of choke artists around the NFL.
